Quick stop at Sylvan Lake, Alberta, Canada

A few weeks ago, my roommate, her friend, and I went to Calgary but before that we decided to stop by Sylvan Lake first. I have never been to Sylvan Lake at all before, so I was like sure, let’s go! As I drove into this quaint little town, I instantly fell in love. The houses there are beautiful, especially the ones right across from the lake. I like how there are a lot of restaurants to choose from, too! It seems like most of the residents there were young people who are just the same age as me. My roommate and her friend said that it is usually packed during summer and I could not wait to be able to come back here a few months from now when the lake is no longer frozen and I can wear my bikini and enjoy my favourite ice cream! It is only about a couple of hours from Drayton Valley, Alberta. We ate at the Big Moo and I ordered a Mushroom Cheddar Sirloin Burger and Oreo Cookie Frappe and it cost me about CAD$20. The burger was gross and I really hope I did not eat one but I guess I’ll never know if I haven’t tried, right? The oreo milkshake is okay, it is not too bad but it is not the greatest.

Expenses: Gas maybe around CAD$30, burger and frappe around CAD$20
