Travel Video Diary: From St. Goar to Munich

My Contiki European Magic tour group went to Munich! We got to see the biggest cuckoo clock at the Marianplatz. Afterwards, most of my tour group members went with Mike’s Bikes for a bike tour of the city while I went on a walking tour by myself. I went up St. Peter’s church and saw a bird’s eye view of Munich which everyone on the bike tour missed out on. 1. Marianplatz is so full of magic, I could stay there for houses just watching people walking, and the architecture of the many buildings around, drinking one good pint of beer 🙂

  2. What walking tour did you do? Was it a suggested route or did you do your own thing? I love it when places do the free walking tours although I normally pay!!!

  3. It would have been fun to see the world’s largest cuckoo clock. Such a funny experience… cuckoo, cuckoo! haha

I went with Contiki but decided to tour Munich on my own while my other tourmates went on a bike tour which was included in my Contiki tour price.

  4. Love the view from St Peter’s Church’s Tower, looks a lot like Prague with the red rooftops 🙂 How is it to travel with Contiki? What month did you travel in? Did you manage to take a trip to Neuschwanstein Castle while you were in Munich?

I love Contiki! Super organized and fun! I love my tourmates, too! I went in the summer, in July/August 🙂 And no.. I did not get to see Neuschwanstein Castle. I didn’t know that was in Munich!!

  5. Munich is such a cool city! Looks like you had a great time!

  6. This looks ace! I’ve yet to visit Munich, but it’s definitely on the list (along with loads of other places haha!) x
