I Can’t Have a Chihuahua!

D*mn it!

I have always wanted to have a pet dog, particularly a Chihuahua. (Fun fact: I used to hate Chihuahuas because I do not find them cute or anything and I also find them too small for me which means they are not that cuddly or I might step on them). However, moving out of my parent’s house and not having a boyfriend can be a bit lonely. I need some company and so I want to have a pet. When I think about it, though, I feel like it will be unfair to my future pet to be left alone when I do travel and I plan on traveling a lot! Plus, having a pet can be expensive and I think about all the money I could use for travel instead of pet products.

I guess I have to either give up on the idea of me having a pet or just postpone it until I have more money in my bank account that I could afford to have a pet and still afford to travel.

  1. Thank you for not getting a dog when your future is uncertain. People who don’t think it through are the reason so many dogs and cats are killed in shelters. There will be a dog in your future, a great dog, when you’re ready for the commitment.

  2. Awww. Thank you so much! I know. I love dogs so much and I can’t just take care of them when I know I plan on traveling and moving a lot. I can’t wait for that day! 🙂
