My Contiki European Magic tour group travelled from Venice, Italy to Lucerne, Switzerland! When we got to Lucerne, we went up Mt. Stanserhorn and then we checked in at Jail Loewengraben, a jail hotel! We also went on a cruise at Lake Lucerne. For more travel video diaries, subscribe to my Youtube channel. Beautiful shots! I had heard of hotels and hostels in jails and always thought they were just a gimmick. Glad to see you liked it!

The open gondola looks like so much fun ! When we went to cruise on Lake Lucerne, it was also overcast, like I see in your video. Then a few months later I saw someone’s pictures at the same lake on a clear day and the pictures were so beautiful ! The deep blue colours of the lake aren’t visible with an overcast sky unfortunately. However it looks like you guys had a lot of fun, your group members seem pretty cool 🙂

Looks like you had quite an adventure Justine! Not too sure about that jail hotel, there’s just some novelties that I prefer to leave to others! Glad to see you enjoyed Venice and Lucerne.
Hey, what a lovely video.. It captured the essence of your travel totally.
Looks beautiful! My friend spent a few weeks in Venice doing a university course on architecture and she absolutely loved it. What was your favourite country/experience on this trip?

my favourite experience was definitely getting lost on the streets of Venice with my new found friends and feeding myself with gelato and pasta! haha
haha yeah. The jail hotel was also definitely not my thing. I couldn’t sleep! it was just so creepy!
I didn’t know that was the true colour of the lake!! haha yeah! They were a lot of fun and I miss them so much!
hahaha I actually didn’t like the jail hotel. It was soooo creeepy!
The view when you got off the gondola looks insane. That would be right up my street. Looked like a fantastic trip,
